There is a very simple reason behind Decus…. to provide authentically made items of high quality, manufactured here in the UK.

We are a family business, based in the beautiful county of Somerset.  We have a wealth of experience after many years in the metal fabrication and industrial paint industry, and are passionate about UK manufacturing. 

Decus is the latin term for ornament, beauty, dignity and honour.  These are values that we hold true, and we hope to do our small part for the preservation of UK manufacturing, job creation, and reducing our carbon footprint in the process.  We not only design, but manufacture, paint, package, and ship all our own items.  Our tabletops are custom-made by local artisans, bringing their specialist skills for a personalised collaboration, and ensuring we support other local businesses as much as possible!  We are proud to make up part of a small but ardent team, that retains our values, and helps us to achieve our objectives. 

Ultimately, our experience and overall management is how we are able to produce a range of high quality furnishings, with honesty and integrity.
